NUR-SULTAN. KAZINFORM - Committee of natural monopolies of the Ministry of national economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan spoke on increase of electricity tariffs, INA "Kazinform” correspondent reports.

"What was announced by the authorized bodies in terms of energy (Ministry of Energy), average increase of tariffs by stations amounted to about 15%,  and tariff increased for 32 stations out of 44 stations. This will have a slight impact on the final consumer," -Chairman of the Committee on regulation of natural monopolies of the Ministry of national economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan Assan Darbayev told to the reporters.

According to him, the maximum tariff increase is expected at the level of 6-7%.

"Ultimately, increase of about 6-7% will be on the consumer. This is the maximum. Most of the subjects after the completion of the determination of tariffs will apply next year. At that time, we will analyze and look at the validity of the tariffs of each subject, " - A. Darbayev said.

He also said that the new tariff rate for electricity will be effective from 2021.
