Metering devices
For information of Almaty residents
Today many Almaty residents have electric power meters of "Saiman" plant "Orman" type СО-Э711 TX PLC IP P П installed. It is required to record initial reading of a meter in commissioning of new meter. This step is crucial for further calculations with energy supply company.
Further, upon installation of new electric power meter, you shall get an ACT, where meter's readings are specified at the moment of commissioning. Readings, specified in the ACT, shall correspond to actual readings on LCD screen (Display).
In relation to accuracy of recording, we officially inform that these electric power meters are in full compliance with standards GOST Р 52322-2005 p.7.1 and GOST Р 31819.21-2012 p.7.1 in relation to consumed voltage in power circuits. All parameters of produced meters undergo metrological calibration test in an accredited laboratory for compliance with standard ST RK ISO/IEC 17025-2007.
We provide detailed instruction on reading of electric power meter below. Order of displaying of reading is explained in meter data sheet at page 8, paragraph 2.2. If you have no meter data sheet, use the following instruction:
For your convenience, please wait the following sequence of data reflecting (every 5 sec.) on LCD screen (display):
1) Current date
2019.04.03 83 |
2) Current time
8:24:22 84 |
3) Identification number (your meter has its own number, indicated on the front side of the meter and in the data sheet)
00000006 80 |
4) Transfer number
- for single-phase meter 1600 imp/kW•h
1600 82 |
- for three-phase meters 800 imp/kW•h
800 82 |
Data specified above are required to fill in billing invoice for recording time and date of readings.
Then data are displayed for calculation of your electricity consumption, and depending on your payment method (by consumption volume or by sale rates), samples are provided below.
5) Total electricity consumption, in kilowatt-hours (sample provided) – TOTAL is the sum of kilowatt - hours according to readings, i.e. the total indicator of your consumption from the date of meter installation, and it is used for settlement payment.
Total indicator (TOTAL) is used for individual filling, as it is shown in figures 1 and 2. That you are required to record into receipt as "the last" readings (readings shall be taken only from your meter).

Dear consumers, do not worry, if you do not record readings from the first time, all required data will be displayed in a few seconds in the same sequence.
You can get consultation on method of calculation and correct calculation of electricity consumption in the relevant district office, or call to our round-the-clock contact center by phone numbers: 356-99-99; 399-99-00.
Use the following examples for correct calculation of electric power consumption, taking into account that your calculations are based on consumption volumes (fig.1). Calculation of the amount of payment for used electricity is started from specification of rated consumption volume for each rate level on the basis of number of residents. Then consumption volume is deducted from the actual expenditure, starting from consumption of service "Electricity".
Consumption rates based on a number of residents are applied in case of monthly recording of readings on the same day.
Initial data:
Number of residents - 2 person
Rated consumption rate of the first level up to 90 kWh/man per month
Rated consumption volume of the second level from 90 to 160 kWh/man per month
Rated consumption volume of the third level over 160 kWh/man per month
Example 1 (if calculation is based on consumption volume (fig.1))
Consumption:
Service "Electricity" – 334 kWh
Amount of payment for service "Electricity"
Consumption for service "Electricity" is equal to 335 kWh, more than rated consumption of the first level rate
90 (rated consumption of 1 level) *2 (number of residents)*16,53 (1 level rate per 1 kWh) = 2 975,40 KZT
Electricity consumption is more than the rated consumption volume at the first level, therefore, we determine the amount of payment by the second level rate
70 (160-90=70 consumption of 2 level)* 2 (number of residents) = 140 kWh.
140*21,37 (2 level rate per 1 kWh) = 2 991,80 KZT
Amount of payment for third level rate
334-180-140 = 14 kWh
Third level rate - 26,71 KZT per 1 kWh
14*26,71 = 373,94 KZT
Calculation of payment amount for service "Electricity"
2 975,40 + 2 991,80 + 373,94 = 6 341,14 KZT
Example 2 (if calculation is based on sale rate (fig.2))
Consumption:
Service "Electricity" – 334 kWh
Amount of payment for service "Electricity"
334 (consumption volume) *17,81 (sale rate) = 5 948,54 KZT
