In 1981 he graduated from Almaty Energy Sector Institute, electrical engineering department, specialty “electrical systems and grids”. Qualification: electrical engineer. Over the years he worked as process engineer, engineer of 1 grade for testing and set-up of energy equipment at energy generating enterprise (electrical stations), as Commercial supervisor of “KOREM” CJSC for execution of daily schedule of consumption and generation of electric power by wholesale market players of EAEU RoK, as the chief specialist of the Department of contracts and balances, KEGOC JSC.

2007-2010 – head of sector, deputy head of service and head of the central service of sales and supply of electric power of AlmatyEnergoSbyt LLP.

2010 – 2011 – Deputy Director, Director of Uranenergo-Pool LLP, supply of electric power for uranium enterprises of NAC Kazatomprom.

Since 03.2012 – Deputy General Director for production of AlmatyEnergoSbyt LLP.

Since 09.2017 – Executive Director for wholesale market.
